PERU ORGANIC EL PALTO SHB EP coffee is sourced from family-owned farms organized around the Asociacion de Productores Cafetaleros Juan Marco, EL Palto (JUMARP), and it is also known as simply “El Palto”. Located in northern Peru in the Amazonas Andes, this association began with just 35 small farmers in 2003. Today there are 169 member of which 40 are women with approximately 550 hectares of Organic and Fair Trade Certified Coffees in production.
